CNA Certification

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) works under the direction of physicians, licensed practical nurses, and registered nurses to provide daily basic care for patients. A CNA provides both physical and emotional support for patients in nursing homes and hospitals. CNA's must be able to provide personal assistance to individuals who are unable to care for themselves and help regain and maintain daily functions. To be certified as a nursing assistant, the student must successfully complete the New Jersey curriculum for Nurse Aide in Long Term Care Facilities Training and Competency Evaluation Program (NATCEP) Our program is approved by the New Jersey Senior Service & Health Department. Ace Healthcare Training Institute is designed to help fulfill those requirements and help prepare the student for the State Certified Nurse Assistant examination in just 4-6 weeks.

CHHA Certification

A Certified Home Health Aide provides personal care such as bathing, dressing, or grooming to elderly, convalescent, or disabled persons in the home of patients or in a residential care facility. To be New Jersey state certified as an CHHA, the student must successfully complete a required 76 hours, to include 60 hours of classroom instruction and 16 hours of clinical instruction in a skills laboratory or patient-care setting and pass a competency evaluation exam. Our state approved program will not only help the student meet these requirements but also provide job assistance.
